Training
Since its founding in 1981, Rainbow International has led the industry in restoration techniques with in-depth training and development.
The water restoration training facility, known as Jack's House (in recognition of Jack White, long-time Rainbow International employee and current Vice President of Technical Training) is a 1,200 square-foot training house built inside a 5,000 square-foot warehouse in Waco Texas. Jack’s House is equipped with its own heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system and a variety of other independent features designed to train multiple restoration scenarios simultaneously. Jack's House is regularly flooded and restored. Specialized training on drying wood floors and Category 1 and 3 restoration services for gray and black water contamination are also offered.
The fire and smoke damage restoration learning centre is Rainbow International's latest centre of excellence. Inside a climate-controlled multi-room scenario simulator, Rainbow employees interact with experienced instructors, learning the latest techniques in fire and smoke damage restoration. Different types of rooms (i.e. kitchens, bathrooms), burn materials (i.e. organic, inorganic) and surfaces (i.e. tile, paint) are covered as Rainbow personnel learn to apply classroom knowledge to jobsite application. Personnel also gather for individual instruction at fully- equipped work stations to cover fire and smoke damage restoration techniques for specific business and household items.
